Look! A real video! One where I’m not swearing, dancing with the camera or saying “fuck it” halfway through. You’re impressed, right? This is “Already Gone” from the new album ‘An Unwavering Band of Light’  by Jenny Owen Youngs (Does anyone know if the name is derived from this Vonnegut line:“all that is alive and maybe sacred in any of us… a vertical and unwavering band of light.”? Because that would be badass.). 

I tried to focus on every member of the band while filming because I firmly believe that bombastic live sets such as these could not exist without every member nailing it, and Jenny’s band hits it on the head every goddamn time. I’ve made myself feel like a creep fangirl with all these posts, but I hope I got the point across: THIS ALBUM IS IT. If the world ends this year, my only regret will be that I can’t listen to this album in hell.
